Syncing in Yardi Voyager

We have a deeper Yardi Voyager sync available upon request that allows RentBamboo to sync data inside Yardi, reach out to support or your RentBamboo rep. However, this guide covers the basic integration.

Yardi Voyager Lead Sync Setup

This guide explains how to connect Yardi Voyager leads to RentBamboo so your AI can capture and respond to renter inquiries.

Because Voyager configurations vary by company, the easiest option is to contact the RentBamboo team and we can configure this with your admin. If you'd prefer to set it up yourself, follow the steps below.

Step 1 — Add RentBamboo as a User

1. Log in to Yardi Voyager.

2. Ask your system administrator to create a new user for RentBamboo.

Enter the following details:

• Name: RentBamboo AI

• Email: Your RentBamboo email

• Phone: Optional — add your RentBamboo phone number if provided

Then:

• Assign a leasing or marketing role

• Give the user access to the properties you want RentBamboo to manage

• Enable prospect / guest card email notifications

• Disable any automated lead reply templates

This ensures RentBamboo receives new renter inquiries from Voyager.

Step 2 — Confirm the Invitation Email

If Voyager sends a confirmation email for the new user:

1. Log in to RentBamboo

2. Go to Inbox

3. Open the invitation email

4. Click Accept / Activate Account

Step 3 — Syncing Costar and Zillow

Additional Step — For Yardi Clients Using CRMIQ Only

If your organization is using CRMIQ, you must also add the House user as a Leasing Agent.

1. Navigate to Setup > Property > Review Property.

2. Select the desired property and go to Functions > Agents.

3. Find the House Agent and add a Start Date if not populated

4. If the House Agent is not on the list:

   1. Select the paper icon.

   2. Select Employee to find and add the House user as a leasing agent.

   3. Enter the start date for the House user.

   4. Click Submit.

This ensures the CRMIQ environment correctly assigns and manages lead routing via the House agent.
